After a heartbreak from a failed relationship, overweight since childhood, Nobuko (Aibu Saki) decides to lose the excess baggage. She succeeded in doing so and began working for her dreams in a famous fashion magazine. Until she met a handsome patisserie, Taiichi (Hayama Mokomichi) and that started her struggle to figure out what really makes her happy? A model-like figure? Doing your dream job? Getting married to the guy of your dreams?
Unlike the gifted ones who can always look good without even trying, there are some who should fight their genes and hormones to fit to the clothes they wanted to wear. I can empathize perfectly with these people as I once fought my genes too. It was crazy and terribly hard. And that what made me watch this drama at the first place.
Rating the drama from a scale of 1-10, I would give it a 7. I liked how the plot progressed; it was fast and straight to the point, no dragging moments at all. I loved how after each shocking events happen after another. Well, as for the bad side, I could say there is this certain exaggeration in the acting that turns me off at times. Tolerable though because that is usually a characteristic of a Japanese Drama.
All in all, it was a good watch! I recommend! Hayama is such an eye-candy!
